I agree! I have come so far and paid off so much. My car is down to just over $1,000 but I love to scrapbook and haven't bought any supplies this year. Tonight I ordered things that I need and things I want. This is my one outlet and it makes me happy. Dad recently told some friends that I am the historian in the family and it made me proud.

Yes saving money is worth it everyone needs to save money for investments everyone needs to save that first $100,000 for investments you want to be super fugal and super smart with money right now, so you can live like a financial king or queen in the future this is a good video for debate, but saving money is very important to have a large emergency fund and to reach that first $100,000 for investments

I've been saving nearly everything I make for the last 6-7 years now, living with parents. I have everything invested in high yield savings or CDs. The housing market ballooned and added between 50-80K to the price of all starter homes in my new england state effectively making two years of my savings useless in terms of buying power for exactly what I was saving for. I'm very discouraged and sometimes downright depressed about it. And with health problems possibly looming I'm worried that I've spent half a decade saving up for nothing.

I agree with you when it comes to traveling while saving and accomplishing goals.
